The PCIUSB3S22 2-Port PCI to USB 3.0 Card lets you connect USB 3.0 peripherals to a computer using a previous generation PCI bus, doubling data transfer speeds with USB 3.0 peripherals compared to a single connection. USB 2.0 host, at up to 1.3 Gbps (PCI bus limit).
This card includes an optional SATA power connector, allowing each port to provide up to 900 mA of power to bus-powered USB 3.0 devices.
By supporting previous generation (PCI) host connections, the card offers up-to-date peripheral connectivity, without having to upgrade to an available PCIe motherboard or relying on backward compatibility with USB 3.0 peripherals.
