The USB 3.0 to HDMI® adapter, USB32HDEH model, converts a USB 3.0 port into an HDMI output port with 1920×1200 / 1080p video support. The adapter includes a built-in USB Pass-Through 3.0 port, which provides a connection port instead of the USB port used to connect the HDMI adapter: ideal solution for laptop or Ultrabook ™ users who have a limited number of ports USB available.
The USB to HDMI adapter works like an external graphics card, as it offers a convenient way to add multimonitor capability to a desktop or laptop PC with USB 3.0 available (optimal performance of USB 3.0, backward compatible with USB 2.0).
By leveraging the high-bandwidth (5 Gbps) SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface, the adapter transmits uniformly high-definition content to the screen or HDMI projector. You can use the adapter to duplicate the PC desktop, and display the same image on each screen, or to enlarge the desktop, in order to double the workspace and increase productivity.
