The USB over Cat5 / Cat6 Extender, USB2001EXT2 allows you to extend a USB 2.0 connection to distances of up to 100 meters (330 feet) via Cat5 or Cat6 ethernet cable.
It is compatible with USB 1.x devices, making it possible to install almost any type of USB device in locations away from the host computer.
With a bandwidth of up to 480 Mbps and no software installation required, the USB Extender is a versatile, quick-to-deploy and easy-to-use solution for business or industrial environments, as well as including a durable metal enclosure, a surface mount kit and simple plug-and-play installation.
In addition, the extender provides up to 500 mA per port (with an external power adapter in the remote unit), helping to increase compatibility with USB bus-powered devices.
