The USB 1.1 Extender, USB110EXT2 allows you to extend a USB 1.1 connection to distances of up to 40 meters (131 feet) via standard Cat5 or Cat6 UTP cable, exceeding the normal limitation of 4.5 meters (15 feet) for USB 1.1 devices. and offers the ability to safely store the host computer in a remote location.
The USB Extender features a compact design that requires no external power, making it the ideal solution for cameras, keyboards, mice, or other remote USB input devices in environments where installation space or access to power outlets is limited.
Capable of providing up to 300mA of power (when receiving 500mA from the host computer), the extender is compliant with the USB 1.1 specification that supports up to 12Mbps of bandwidth.
