The SDOCK4U33 2.5 “/ 3.5” SATA HDD / SSD Docking Station (4 bays) allows you to simultaneously connect and swap hard drives from a desktop or laptop computer, via a single USB port.
This USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UASP) enhanced hard drive docking station lets you take full advantage of SATA III (Gbps) solid state drives (SSDs) as well as hybrid drives. With up to 70% faster performance than conventional USB 3.0 when paired with a UASP-equipped host controller, the UASP protocol ensures optimal system performance and avoids “bottlenecks.” For more details, see the UASP test results below.
The hard drive dock includes independently powered SATA connectors for each drive, allowing each drive to be used separately. This allows the flexibility to hot-swap one drive while transferring data to another, saving time. Additionally, built-in fans keep drives cool, ensuring optimal performance and helping prevent premature drive failure.
