The SDOCK2U33RE 2.5 “/ 3.5” SATA HDD / SSD Dual Hard Drive Docking Station allows you to duplicate / clone an existing hard drive without a host computer system, or connect and swap, from Simultaneously, hard drives of a desktop or laptop computer, through a single eSATA or USB port.
Versatile Features
The SDOCK2U33RE offers very practical dual-function performance. As a duplicator, it enables you to create an exact sector-by-sector copy of one hard drive to another, including partitions and boot sector information, ensuring integrity and consistency for sensitive operations such as data recovery. As a docking station for an external hard drive, the SDOCK2U33RE allows drives to be individually connected via eSATA or USB, and each drive slot individually supports high-capacity 2.5 “or 3.5” hard drives ( HDD) or Solid State Drives (SSD), which have been tested up to 4TB.
Fast performance
SATA III (6 Gbps) support maximizes efficiency through mirroring speeds of up to 22 GB per minute, as well as eSATA connection speeds of up to 6 Gbps. The docking station can also be connected via USB 3.0 with UASP, for transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps (70% faster than conventional USB 3.0). For more details, see the UASP test results below.
