For fast performance and efficient data transfers, when connected via eSATA, the hard drive cage supports maximum SATA III transfer speeds – up to 6Gbps.
For universal compatibility, the box can be connected via USB 3.0, with transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps, plus UASP support. The box for DD allows you to connect a SATA III (6Gbps) hard drive, but it also supports SATA I and II.
