The 1.83m active Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter cable (model MDP2DVIMM6WS) allows you to directly connect a Mini DisplayPort video source (like any of your MacBook® or Microsoft® Surface ™ Pro devices equipped with Mini DisplayPort) to a monitor or projector DVI, which avoids having to buy additional adapters. The converter also has an elegant white design, suitable for connection to Mac® computers.
For guaranteed compatibility with virtually any Mini DisplayPort output, the active Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter supports multimode (DP ++) as well as single-mode DisplayPort signals. Unlike passive adapters, this ensures that the MDP2DVIMM6WS adapter can be used even with graphics cards with no DP ++ multimode output signal available, such as ATI® Eyefinity cards.
