The Gigabit PoE over Ethernet (8-port) Switch, model IES81000POE, enables Gigabit Ethernet connection and power for up to 8 PoE-equipped devices, or a mix of PoE and non-PoE components.
By allowing equipment to be placed anywhere where electrical outlets are not available, this PoE + switch complies with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards and supplies up to 30W of power per port, with a total power allocation of 120W.
A true no-control switching solution, the 8 PSE (“Power Sourcing Equipment”) ports detect whether connected devices are PoE compliant or require only data connectivity, as well as having the ability to auto negotiation between 10/100/1000 Mbps network speeds and duplex control.
The Gigabit Ethernet switch includes a rugged and durable metal enclosure for wall mounting, as well as front panel LED indicators to quickly monitor connection speed and status.
