The HDMI® to VGA converter cable, model HD2VGAMM6, 1.8 meters, allows you to connect a Chromebook ™, or a laptop or desktop computer equipped with HDMI, to a VGA monitor or projector, without the need for additional adapters or cables .
The converter cable avoids the hassle of combining an HDMI to VGA adapter with a bulky VGA cable, as it offers a comprehensive solution for connecting a computer equipped with digital HDMI to a VGA monitor or projector.
Unlike most HDMI to VGA adapters that require an outlet to convert the video signal, the HD2VGAMM6 converter does not require external power in most installations. To work with Mac computers that require external power, the HD2VGAMM6 converter includes the option of integrated USB source (USB cable not included), which makes it much easier to connect a screen to a desktop PC or workstation, without the need additional power supply.
In the past, converting a digital HDMI signal to analog VGA was a difficult and expensive task. Now, thanks to the HD2VGAMM6 converter, it is possible to avoid expenses related to updating your computer, by connecting the HDMI video source to an existing VGA monitor or projector. In addition, since the adapter cable supports video resolutions up to 1920×1200 or 1080p, it is guaranteed to maintain high definition video quality when using an existing VGA display.
The HD2VGAMM6 converter cable maintains a precise connection along its 1.8 meters in length, which avoids the obstruction of a cable that is too long and guarantees a professional installation. For shorter installations, we also offer an HD2VGAMM3 HD2VGAMM3 and, for longer lengths, an HD2VGAMM10 HD2VGAMM10, which allows you to choose the most suitable cable length for your installation.
Note: This adapter cannot display digitally encrypted content from the HDMI video source.
