Focusrite RedNet X2P
Overview
The RedNet X2P is a compact Dante-enabled audio interface designed for remote recording, talent stations, broadcast booths, live sound, and studio expansion. It combines two premium Red Evolution microphone preamps, Dante networking, a headphone amplifier, and line outputs into a portable PoE-powered unit.
Unlike the PCIeNX and TNX, which are high-channel-count Dante computer interfaces, the X2P is a networked I/O endpoint that adds local microphone and headphone connectivity anywhere on a Dante network.

Comparison with Other RedNet Products
| Product | Primary Purpose |
|---|---|

Why Studios Use X2P
The X2P is often placed:
- In vocal booths
- Near musicians
- At podcast positions
- In broadcast commentary locations
- Anywhere microphones and headphones are needed on a Dante network
Because it carries audio, clock, power, and remote control through a single Ethernet cable, it eliminates the need for separate audio multicore cables and local power supplies, making installation extremely simple.
