II-VI FTLC1156RDPL 100GBASE-LR4 QSFP28 Transceivers are designed for use in 100 Gigabit Ethernet links on up to 10km of single-mode fiber. These transceivers feature a hot-plugged QSFP28 footprint and a metal enclosure for low EMI. The FTLC1156RDPL Transceivers integrate four 25Gb/s DFB-based LAN-WDM transmitters and support a 103.1Gb/s aggregate bit rate.
The FTLC1156RDPL Transceivers include an enhanced digital diagnostic monitoring interface that allows real-time access to device operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser bias current, transmitted optical power, received optical power, and transceiver supply voltage. The operating and diagnostics information is monitored and reported by a Digital Diagnostics Transceiver Controller (DDTC) inside the transceiver, which is accessed through an I2C interface.
The II-VI FTLC1156RDPL QSFP28 Transceivers are compliant with QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4, and IEEE 802.3bm CAUI-4. These transceiver modules are Class 1 laser eye safety compliant per IEC 60825-1.
