Compatible with Intel® Thunderbolt ™ when connected directly to a DisplayPort I / O port via Thunderbolt, the adapter supports on-screen or projector resolutions up to 1920×1200 (WUXGA) and conforms to HDCP standards.
MDP2DVI3 is a passive adapter that requires a DP ++ port (DisplayPort ++), which means that DVI and HDMI signals can also be transferred through the port.
