Utilizing the JTDHDEX1x4 as a splitter/extender combo allows you to extend the distance from source to display up to 164 feet (50 meters) while also allowing you to connect a local monitor via the HDMI Loop Out on the transmitter unit. Control your source device such as a Blu-ray player Cable box or Apple TV from the location of your display with the IR pass-through function of the JTDHDEX1x4 and control your display from the location of your source device using the Bi-directional capability of the IR pass-through for maximum convenience.
