This self-contained eraser drive allows you to erase your 2.5 “and 3.5” hard drives or SSDs without connecting to a host computer, making it easy to reuse or reuse your SATA drive. For more functionality, the base prints a confirmation receipt when the data has been securely erased.
The eraser drive also includes a bay for your SATA drives, offering fast USB 3.0 performance, also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5Gbps).

Using industry-standard compliant erase modes ensure this standalone eraser securely cleans, erases, or corrects data on 2.5 “or 3.5” SSDs or DDs.
The eraser unit supports nine erase modes, including Quick Erase (“Quick Erase”), Single and Multi-pass Overwrites (“Single and Multi-pass Overwrites”), Custom Erase, Secure Erase (“Secure Erase”) and Advanced Secure Erase (“Enhanced Secure Erase”). The “Multi-pass Overwrite” process of erasing (total overwrite of the disk with 3 passes) conforms to the North American military standards DoD (5220.22-M).
