The S251SMU33EP USB 3.0 / eSATAp Hard Drive Enclosure converts a 2.5 “SATA HDD or SSD (Solid State) hard drive into an external drive that can be connected to any USB-equipped computer system or eSATA.
For fast performance and efficient data transfers, when connected via eSATA, the hard drive cage supports maximum SATA III transfer speeds – up to 6 Gbps. For universal compatibility, the S251SMU33EP can be connected via USB 3.0, with transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps, plus UASP support, offering 70% faster performance than conventional USB 3.0, when paired with a host controller with UASP available, in order to take advantage of the full potential of SATA III hard drives. Designed for maximum portability, the S251SMU33EP does not require an external adapter when connected to an eSATAp host port (USB + eSATA combined).
