Since two host controller chipsets are used, which are shared across two ports instead of four, this 4-port PCIe to USB 3.1 card dedicates up to 10Gbps to each set of two USB ports. Shared bandwidth
This 4-port USB 3.1 controller card adds independent dual channels to your computer and 10Gbps shared bandwidth between two USB ports.
Each set of two ports offers 10Gbps bandwidth sharing. If a single device accesses a channel, the card offers data transfer rates of up to 10Gbps to the device. If two devices access the channel simultaneously, the 10Gbps bandwidth will be shared between both devices.
