This media converter is a versatile solution for connecting an Ethernet network (1000Base-T) with fiber optic network infrastructure, and includes an open SFP slot that allows you to choose the most suitable MSA compliant fiber SFP option for your fiber optic connection mode (singlemode / multimode) and your distance requirements (see our full range of Fiber Transceivers for more information on compatible solutions).
Designed for applications where multiple chassis-mounted media converters are required, this Gigabit signal converter is offered as an easy-to-install module card in the 20-slot ETCHS2U (ETCHS2U). For applications where standalone operation is required, this Gigabit signal converter can also be purchased as an ET91000SFP2 (ET91000SFP2).
