The DisplayPort® to DVI Video Converter Adapter, model DP2DVI2, allows you to connect a DVI monitor to a desktop or laptop computer equipped with DisplayPort.
It supports resolutions up to 1920×1200, which allows you to take full advantage of the DVI video capability of a single link. The DP2DVI2 model is a passive adapter that requires a DP ++ port (DisplayPort ++), which means that DVI and HDMI signals can also be transferred through the port.
