This unique docking station can read almost any 2.5 or 3.5″ SATA III 6 Gb/s, SATA II 3 Gb/s, or SATA I 1.5 Gb/s drive, up to 6TB (support for drives over 2TB requires Windows XP 64-bit and later, or macOS 10.2 or later). There’s a push-button eject for safe removal, a 2-color status LED, and it uses the ASMedia 1051e chipset. If your system’s BIOS allows booting from its USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 interface, you can even use this as an external start up drive.
The weighted base and non-skid rubber feet ensure stable operation, and the compact design won’t significantly impact your workspace.
