The CG-3X2C3AM is a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C PD (Power Delivery) Metal Hub that complies with the Universal Serial Bus (USB) Specifications Revision 3.2 Gen 1 and works up to 5Gbps. It provides 1 USB-C PD-Source capable upstream port and 4 downstream facing ports with1 USB-C and 3 USB-A connectors.
The upstream port can charge the host PC or tablet PC and the USB-C downstream device simultaneously. Only one single power supply is required for both host and devices.
The hub works backward compatible even when any one of downstream port is connected to an USB2.0/1.1 compliant device, or when the upstream port is connected to a USB2.0/1.1 compliant host.
The CG-3X2C3AM provides a unique self-power mode to support fast USB charging specifications by turning its downstream ports from a Standard Downstream Port (SDP) into Charging Downstream Port (CDP) or Dedicated Charging Ports (DCP).
